As of today we have made improvements to the way message notifications work to give users complete flexibility in how they respond to messages sent to them.

When you receive a message from another CliqueCloud user the message notifications will no longer direct you to log into CliqueCloud to view and reply to the message.

Instead the notification will be a copy of the message that was sent, including text and attachments. The new style message includes a tracker code in the subject, which, along with the "From" email address, permits you to respond to the notification directly from within you usual email client. When CliqueCloud receives your reply the tracker code ensures that:

a) the reply goes back to the sender;
b) the message is associated with the correct conversation or ticket and;
c) an exact copy of the message you sent with text attachments is added to the SentItems mail box of your CliqueSpace.

Where the notification message relates to a ticket then the subject will contain the original subject of the ticket meaning your can identify an organisations response to support issues you raise more easily.

The latest wave of updates to CliqueCloud are underway following feed back from the beta testers and business partners.

The first round of updates currently rolling out includes optimisations to our query engine.This has been the bane of CliqueCloud for some time and has prevented us from being able to push the system as a widely available platform for business users.

CliqueCloud is built on a sophisticated proprietary object oriented database management system (OODBMS) that solves a great many of the security issues faced by graph database systems. Graph database systems being the sort seen in many of the social networks. It is the fundamental nature of a graph database and being able to relate objects with each other that allows CliqueCloud to operate it's unique Company/Associate relationships, Friends, Company/Customer relationships and many other features.

A major problem for graph database solved by the CliqueCloud OODBMS is applying security at the object (record) and property (field) level and doing so comprehensively. That is security which is checked no matter what is being retrieved and no matter who by with no way to circumvent it. Such security gives extremely fine control over who can see what and great confidence that the right people are viewing it. But it comes at a price when it comes to performance.

We have come up with new optimisations to the query engine in the CliqueCloud OODMBS that surmount many of these performance issues while at the same time maintaining the strict property and object level security. This has sped up the browsing and searching of records on the system, in particular with support tickets and contacts.

Over the coming weeks we will be building on these improvements and rolling out further updates and features to ready the system for release of the Support Ticketing System as a fully fledged pay-to-use service.
